Introducing digital loyalty passes for Apple Wallet! Available now to businesses using Square Loyalty.

 

Give new customers more ways to enroll
When customers use Apple Pay at checkout, they can enroll in your loyalty program right from their phone. They can also add their loyalty pass to Apple Wallet from a digital receipt.

 

Streamline the customer experience
Once added, passes are automatically selected and used to check in and earn points when using Apple Pay, easing the check in process and improving buyer identification. Customers can also easily view points and rewards on their pass in Apple Wallet at any time.

 

Passes can be customized to match your brand
To customize your loyalty pass and drive engagement with your brand, add your digital logo and brand colors by visiting the Business information > Receipts screen in Square Dashboard..

This feature has been auto-enabled for businesses using Square Loyalty. To disable, visit Settings > Apple Wallet in your Loyalty Dashboard.

@PerroneTech Thanks for pointing this out! I've alerted the support team as they recently re-organized our Support Center to make the structure more logical for sellers. This article must have fallen through the cracks. Once we locate it we'll re-link. Apologies for the inconvenience! 

 

Until the article is located, here are the instructions re: enrolling customers in your loyalty program:

Enroll a customer in your loyalty program

  1. Process a sale the same way you normally would. After the sale has been completed and your customer has passed the receipt screen, you'll reach the loyalty screen.

  2. Ask your customer to enter their phone number to enroll or sign in to your loyalty program.

They receive an SMS indicating they've earned their first point, and if enabled, they'll also see a link to Cash App to view their loyalty status with your business. From the Activity tab in Cash App, they'll be able to view accrued points, earned rewards, and activity at your business. If your customer does not have Cash App at the time of the transaction, they will be prompted to download the app to easily view their loyalty program details.

 

After each transaction, your customer will receive a text message indicating they've been enrolled and, if applicable, earned their first point(s), along with a link to their loyalty program status.
